There is a place that resembles that of a cemetery and if you visit you will see that it is filled with the walking dead. Its’ very existence reeks with the stench of ignorance, deception, selfishness, obsession, and simple mindedness. The path to Hatersville is simple and takes very little effort to find. Its’ population continues to grow as the residents are always determined to bring more individuals into their most prestigious community.
This is a small list of what must exist within every “Hatersville” prospect before their application is accepted
You must be filled with jealousy and envy about others that are more successful than you are….even your own family members
The rolling of the eyes and the under the breath comments must be your strength, “That can’t be her real hair” “We need to pray for them” or “I can’t believe that they are saved…I remember when they were in the streets” “How did you get that job?” “How did he get her” “She ain’t all that”
Your heart must be filled with deception and lies
The Pastors of churches must compete to have the biggest church, the biggest congregation, and make comments like “How did he get on television?”
You must love black on black crime especially if you are black (you are a destroyer of your own race)
The thought of someone out doing you must never be tolerated…you must always out do the Joneses.
These residents pursue and prey upon certain obnoxious, small minded and annoying individuals to reside in their cult. Where do you live? We all fall short and sometimes visit Hatersville, but some of us choose to make it our home for life. The thought of leaving creates fear and doubt, because we must now live our own lives. If you are living in Hatersville, close your eyes and ask the LORD to release you from the yoke of bondage and to grant you freedom. My Mom always told me “if you don’t have anything good to say…Shut up”
